PAINTING ON GLASS PANELS

Painting on glass is not restricted to framed wall hangings alone. We can use Lead strips to create the "stained glass" effect on glass/plexiglass panels. Works great on windows and hall dividers too.

One can combine several techniques to produce awesome panels. There's no limit as to what one can produce with the art form.

This piece was done on a plexiglass panel.
Technique: Lead strip, Siver Outlining, glass frosting & color filling (Pebeo V160/Vitrail)

With the help of modern and advanced technology, this art can be done without the time-consuming traditional tedious processes. Glass painting is Stained Glass made easy!

This is a smaller panel, created to decorate a narrow window.

Medium: Plexiglass

Technique: Bronx Outlining & Color filling (Pebeo V160/Vitrail)

Besides glass, plexiglass, acrylic mediums, the same art form can be worked on mirrors. Using Lead strips, one can make pretty decorations for their mirrors.

Liked your post. Glass paintings and Etched Glass are truly amazing, as they portray art plus sun's reflection.
